With the job market as volatile as ever, the chances of finding a job is factored in just as heavily as starting salaries and mid-career salaries. What good is a degree if you can’t even get a job, right?

7. Art History Art History has the highest average starting salary of the ten on this list at $41,400. It pales in comparison when it comes to employment potential, though. Over 20% of the graduates with an art history degree have dropped out of the workforce completely, with an additional 4% being unemployed.
