5. 2012 Olympics Training Session
Well known for his “Mamba-mentality” (AKA being a psychotic competitor), there are borderline urban legends of Kobe’s work ethic. This account comes from a USA basketball trainer, and gives some insight as to how Kobe became one of the greatest players to ever step foot on a court. Here is the full story from the trainer. For those too lazy to read it all, Kobe was up at 4 AM practicing, did hours of workouts with the trainer. The trainer went home, slept, came back to the practice facility to find Kobe still there 7 hours later because he did not want to leave until he made 800 shots. Mamba mentality.
