12. Banff, Canada
A perfect destination for any season, the town of Banff nestled in the Canadian Rockies feels like a fairy-tale village. Home to Banff National Park, some of Canada's most iconic views are just a short distance away from this small town. In the summer, Banff boasts some of the most beautiful hikes in the world. In the winter, hitting the slopes is a must for any winter sports enthusiast. 
11. Isla Holbox, Mexico Mexico's most popular destinations have been beaten to the ground by hordes and hordes of tourists, but Isla Holbox remains relatively untouched. Just a couple of hours away from Cancun, you can escape the more crowded Caribbean coastal towns and relax in the small island of Holbox. The town itself is small and charming, and unlike in Cancun, Cozumel, or Tulum, the resorts have not completely taken over the coast. You can still walk along endless white beaches and relax without being bothered by vendors, other tourists, or resort workers kicking you off of their "private property".
