Usually students are cramped in tuna can sized rooms with no amenities and probably shared with a random roommate that you may or may not get along with. And ugh... who can forget those disgusting community bathrooms. For some lucky students, not all of them are like that. Some are even cool believe it or not. 10. Quinnipiac University
Pictured above is the gorgeous York Hill campus of Quinnipiac University. Not only are these residence halls absolutely magnificent, they are also very modern and advanced in terms of environmental-friendliness and sustainability. The electricity is provided by solar panels, and heat is provided by geothermal pumps. These, along with other sustainable features, really set these dorms apart from your typical college dorm. |
