3. Iceland
When it comes to nature, Iceland is second to none. For a country of such a small size, it packs a massive punch when it comes to natural beauty. Majestic waterfalls, towering mountains, and stunning glaciers are all over Iceland. A road trip through Iceland is an unforgettable journey that travelers should cross off their bucket list as soon as they can. 2. Cusco, Peru Most people come here as the gateway for their journey to Machu Picchu but usually don't realize that there is much, much more to do in this city. Machu Picchu is a must, but treks in Vinicunca and Sacred Valley also make for unreal adventures. There are too many incredible hikes and day trips in the area to count, but the city itself is also a great place to call home in between all of the adventures that you'll be doing. The culture in this city is richer than almost anywhere else in South America, with traces of life from pre-colonial civilization, the Spanish reign, and the current indigenous cultures all leaving their mark on this city.
1. Bangkok, Thailand
Thailand's capital city is a traveler's dream. While your initial impression may be one of culture shock, Bangkok is a city that will grow on you. The temples and the markets are the top attractions, and although you'll likely never exhaust Bangkok's massive assortment of Wats, there is much more to do in the city than just that. The city offers something for every type of traveler. The modern regions of the city feel as safe, clean, and futuristic as any Western city. Bangkok's Chinatown section will give you sensory overload like you've never experienced before. The popular nightlife spots of Sukhumvit, Soi Cowboy, Pa Tong, or Khao San provide plenty of legal and illegal fun for those looking for a good time. Despite Thailand being a popular tourist destination and Bangkok being the entry point for most people's adventures in Siam, Bangkok is still often overlooked and used just as a stepping stone to other parts of Thailand. Bangkok's popularity is growing, however, and within the next few years, it will easily establish itself as one of the world's best cities.
