10 Stunning College Campuses That You Might Not Have Heard Of

March 1st, 2017
Eli Solidum

We've all gaped in awe at the incredible architecture of the Ivy Leagues, the stunning landscapes of the Southern schools, and the mountainous views that those lucky Colorado students get to see every day. Many college campuses are undeniably beautiful, and they definitely better be considering how much we pay to call these hallowed grounds home. You might not have heard of these smaller, lesser-known schools, but they might just blow you out of the water with their beauty. Just don't be too jealous of the fortunate students that merely have to step out of their dorm rooms to get an Instagram-worthy capture.

4. Berry College - Mount Berry, Georgia
Before you think I pulled a fast one on you and snuck Hogwarts onto this list, look up Berry College in Georgia. It's a small college... in terms of enrollment anyway. The college boasts an unbelievable area of 27,000 acres. With just over two thousand students, each student has well over ten acres just to themselves. Imagine having all of that space and the ability to take in all of Berry's glorious beauty without the struggle of dealing with crowded areas like a typical college campus.

The grounds are flawlessly kept, and we can bet that you won’t have a hard time finding a quiet place or a spot for a picnic here (or to play some Quidditch).

3. Rhodes College - Rhodes, Tennessee
Rhodes College is a small school in Memphis, Tennessee that you might not have heard of. With just 2,000 students, the college might not be anywhere near the largest school in Tennessee, but it just might be the most beautiful. Since it is so close to a metropolitan area, it does not have the privilege of hundreds or thousands of acres of open space like some of the other colleges on this list (including its Tennessee counterpart in Sewanee), but at just 100 acres, it makes the most of every single square inch.

Sometimes, it's what's on the inside that matters, right? Imagine being able to call this your study spot.
