6. Stanford University
What better place to call home than California? Stanford University had the right idea, and stationed in northwestern Silicon Valley, everything about Stanford's environment is pretty nice. The buildings on Stanford also take a unique, more colorful approach to design and architecture than the typical colleges. The red roofs and sandstone exteriors add a nice touch to Stanford, and set it apart from typical brick buildings. A single picture does not do Stanford justice, so you would definitely have to tour this beautiful campus sometime in your life.
