And how ugly were the woman in China in 100 AD that absolutely no one questions Mulan’s appearance? They just trust that this person who has no facial hair and muscle definition is the sex that she—sorry, he, says he is. The soldiers share tents, they bathed together (which Disney tip toes around but in reality no one would be that naïve as to not notice they’re in a pond with a girl). Mulan would be found out she was a woman relatively quickly and then promptly executed.
