Whether it broke our hearts, brought us joy, or made us cry from laughing so hard, these moments were amazing. It is heartbreaking to see How I Met Your Mother go, but all good things come to an end.

3. Lily Loses It
Lily is one of the most stable characters on the entire show. She has a stable relationship, is (mostly) level-headed, and usually acts as the voice of reason, so for her to break down to Ted about all her troubles is a touching moment. “Sometimes, I want to pack a bag and leave in the middle of the night and not come back.” What's sad is the two people she loves the most also happen to be the two people causing her so much pain, adding to her inner struggles.
