8. Kabayan Burial Caves
Located in the Philippines, the Kabayan Burial Caves are homes to thousands and thousands of human remains. Unlike usual burials, these remains were stuffed in egg shaped coffins under the belief that one day they will become alive again. Over fifteen of these caves were found, each with hundreds of those human remains. If that isn’t creepy enough, just take a look at what the mummified remains have ended up looking like after hundreds of years have passed.
