6. George Mason's Final Four Run
Everybody loves Cinderella teams. In 2006, George Mason captured the hearts of the nation. Barely scraping into the tournament as an 11-seed, the Patriots knocked off Michigan State, UNC, Wichita State, and UConn in succession. Coming into the tournament, UConn was the overwhelming favorite to win it all. In the Final Four, George Mason was defeated by Florida, who went on to win the National Championship. |
