15. Rice University
Located in Houston, Texas, Rice combines sophistication with a little bit of Southern charm. The buildings are beautiful, and the landscaping perfectly complements the architecture. Buildings are relatively few and far between, and the campus consists of many quadrangles, giving students a wide open space to roam and relax between studies.

Duke's campus, situated in Durham, North Carolina, spans an astonishing 8,500 acres. Perhaps the most noticeable sight of those 8,500 acres is its massive Gothic style chapel, pictured above.
