Top 10 Smartest Colleges of 2013
Lumosity, a brain training and neuroscience research company, released its second annual ranking of the smartest students in America. They analyze 72,000 undergraduates’ results of their well-known brain exercises and training games to come up with their ranking. Obviously, this is just one of the many ways to come up with the rankings, but it’s still something to be proud of! Here are the top ten. Some of them will surprise you.
8. Harvard University
Perhaps the most prestigious and renowned university in the United States, Harvard comes in relatively low on Lumosity's list. Globally ranking 1st and 2nd in the world in publications such as the Academic Ranking of World Universities, Times, and QS World University Rankings, an 8th spot nationally is surprisingly low. Maybe if they weren't also one of the most sexually active schools in America, they'd have that number one spot. I’m sure Harvard doesn’t care, as they’ll just rattle off their list of achievements and prestigious alumni, including a staggering 335 Rhodes Scholars, 8 U.S. presidents, 150 Nobel Laureates, 62 living billionaires and a financial endowment of 32.3 billion dollars. Bragging rights for all eternity goes to Harvard.
