2. Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris (The Tool Box Killers)
One of the most disturbing and sickening serial killer duos in all of history, Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris are responsible for a string of rapes and brutal murders of teenaged girls across California. Having met in prison, Norris and Bittaker expressed their desire to rape and murder a teenaged girl of every age. Dubbed the “Tool Box Killers”, the duo used a variety of tools ranging from ice picks, sledgehammers, and pliers to mutilate and kill their victims after raping them. They recorded these killings with a tape recorder. When the gruesome recording of their final killing was played at the trial of Lawrence Bittaker, jurors and members of the audience were so disturbed that many fell to tears, had to leave the courtroom, with some even vomiting. The recording is used by the FBI to desensitize agents to the horrors of torture.
