5. Brushing Your Teeth
You do this every day, maybe 3 or more times a day. What if I told you that you’ve been doing it wrong all this time? The best way to brush your teeth is to not. Brush your gums gently before meals and floss after meals. Brushing your teeth vigorously after meals actually increases the chances of cavities because that’s when your teeth are at their most vulnerable. The enamel in your teeth is softened and weakened by meals, and brushing them viciously only harms the enamel more, leaving your teeth more likely to get cavities.
