With March Madness right around the corner, we take a look back at some of the most memorable moments in the history of the NCAA Tournament.
4. Kansas vs. Memphis
The 2008 National Championship Game featured future NBA Champ Mario Chalmers and his Jayhawks against future NBA MVP Derrick Rose and the Tigers. In a back-and-forth contest, Memphis had the lead by 3 with a few seconds on the clock. After nearly turning the ball over, the Jayhawks got the ball to Chalmers who nailed a 3 to send the game into overtime. They went on to win the game, and Memphis’ tournament run was later vacated due to eligibility issues regarding Rose. |
