11. Hippopotamus (500 Deaths Per Year)
Like the elephant, hippopotami aren't exactly bloodthirsty carnivores. However, their size and aggressive tendencies make it unwise to approach the particularly territorial hippopotamus. There's a reason these cute mammals are capable of fending off even the most vicious crocodiles.
