Who Is Rey's Father?

Who the Hell is Rey's Father? We Narrow It Down to Three Possibilities

There is a possibility that Rey’s parents are just your run-of-the-mill, normal moisture farmers, but that would be no fun. She is extremely force-sensitive, insanely powerful, and kinda resembles that Padme girl from a while back. Remember her? Fan theories are fun, and after much speculation, we’ve narrowed it down to three possibilities.

3. Luke Skywalker
This is the obvious answer. Luke is one of the most powerful people in the galaxy, so it explains a few things if Rey inherited his strength and force-sensitivity. How else could she have had that vision when she first touched the lightsaber? It also answers the question of why Rey was left behind in Jakku: the same reason Luke was dumped on Tatooine by Obi-Wan. Luke had to hide Rey deep in the desert, devoid of bustling life, where her presence could not be felt. What about Rey's mother/Luke's wife? When Kylo Ren went rogue and killed the other jedi that Luke was training, could he also have killed Luke’s wife? If so, Luke distancing himself from Rey to protect her begins to make much more sense. Luke, being the most sought after man in the galaxy, would do anything possible to protect his daughter, even if that meant separating himself from her to ensure his safety. In the final scene, where Rey brings Luke his lightsaber, was Luke really looking at his lightsaber? His eyes showed a lot of emotion, and one of those emotions could have very well been a father seeing his daughter for the first time in decades.
