Top 10 Moments in NCAA Tournament History
With March Madness right around the corner, we take a look back at some of the most memorable moments in the history of the NCAA Tournament.
2. Duke vs. Kentucky, 1992 Elite 8
Two of college basketball’s biggest powerhouses were slated for an epic battle to go to the Final Four. The results did not disappoint. After a monster comeback by Kentucky to send the game into overtime, the Blue Devils found themselves down by 1 with 2 seconds on the clock. Coach K drew up a plan, and they executed perfectly. Grant Hill threw a ¾ court inbound pass, which was caught by Christian Laettner. Laettner spun around, shot the ball, and drained the game-winner. Duke ultimately became the 1992 National Champions. |
